GameRecorder Privacy Policy

Introduction

Easy Pick Apps LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the GameRecorder mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application. GameRecorder is a volleyball game recording app that burns a real-time scoreboard overlay into your video recordings.

Information We Collect

GameRecorder requires access to certain device features to function. The information we access includes:

• Camera and microphone — used to record volleyball games with live scoreboard overlay. Video and audio are processed locally on your device.
• Bluetooth — used to connect a second device as a wireless remote controller. Communication occurs directly between devices via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with PIN authentication.
• Location (Android only) — required by Android for Bluetooth scanning. We do not track, store, or transmit your location.
• Google account (optional) — if you choose to live stream to YouTube, Google Sign-In is used to authenticate with the YouTube Live API. We only request access to manage your YouTube live broadcasts.
• Match data — team names, scores, set results, and scheduled match information are stored locally on your device.

How We Use Your Information

All core functionality is processed locally on your device. We use the information we access to:

• Record video with a burned-in scoreboard overlay using your device camera
• Enable wireless remote control between two devices via Bluetooth
• Stream live video to YouTube or custom RTMP servers when you choose to go live
• Generate highlight clips and match summary images from your recordings
• Store your match schedules, team rosters, and game settings locally

Data Storage

GameRecorder stores all data locally on your device. Recordings, highlight clips, match summaries, team rosters, and scheduled matches are saved to your device storage. App settings and preferences (including BLE PIN, streaming configuration, and team data) are stored in local app storage. We do not operate servers that collect or store your data.

Third-Party Services

GameRecorder integrates with the following third-party services only when you explicitly choose to use them:

• YouTube Live API — when you choose to live stream to YouTube, your video and audio are transmitted to YouTube via RTMP. YouTube's own privacy policy governs how they handle your stream data.
• Custom RTMP servers — if you configure a custom RTMP streaming URL, your video and audio are transmitted to that server. The server operator's privacy practices apply.
• Google Sign-In — used solely for YouTube live streaming authentication. We access your Google account name and email only to display them in the app settings.

Bluetooth Communication

When using the remote control feature, two devices communicate directly via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) using L2CAP channels. Connection requires a 4-digit PIN for authentication. Data exchanged includes game state (scores, set results, serving team), camera settings (zoom level), and low-resolution preview snapshots. No Bluetooth data is transmitted to external servers.

Children's Privacy

GameRecorder is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can:

• Delete any recordings, highlights, or match data from your device at any time
• Revoke Google account access via your Google Account settings
• Clear all app data and preferences through your device settings
• Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
